The 20-page lawsuit filed on Apr. 14 by Philip Johnson, a California USAA member, alleges the defendants—United Services Auto Association, USAA Casualty Insurance Group, USAA General Indemnity Company and Garrison Property and Casualty Insurance Company Group, "scored a windfall during the pandemic, while many others suffered. Despite a “dramatic reduction in driving” and driving-related accidents due to social distancing and stay-at-home measures, premiums have not been significantly reduced."
