TND: Tesla driver says car computer froze, had him stuck going over 80 mph on freeway

TheNationalDesk.com reports on a troubling incident involving a Tesla.

An owner of one of Tesla's Model 3 cars reportedly says he was in quite the predicament on a California freeway when the onboard computer of his vehicle froze.
Javier Rodriguez of Irvine says his car was stuck going 83 miles per hour, according to his interview with KABC News in Los Angeles. He says the accelerator was frozen.

Autonomous vehicles are still in their infancy. As this technology progresses there will be unanticipated and potentially deadly errors. As mentioned in the article, Tesla has issued several recalls for their vehicles. Just recently in April 2022, Tesla recalled almost 600,000 cars because its "boombox" feature may obscure pedestrian warning sounds.
